Televisions. OLED evo gives the deepest black and suits a room you can darken. QNED and NanoCell are brighter and hold contrast in a room with a lot of daylight, which describes most Bahraini living rooms. Nearly everything is 4K now, so the panel type matters more than the resolution.
Refrigerators. Look for an inverter compressor. The fridge is the one appliance that never switches off, and here it works against 45°C ambient heat for months.
Washing machines. Bahrain water is hard. Whatever you buy, run a maintenance wash with descaler every couple of months — it is the single thing that most extends a machine life here.
Air conditioners. Size by room rather than by budget, and choose inverter in a climate that needs cooling eight months a year.
