Which washing machine capacity suits your household, front load against top load, and the hard-water habit that decides how long the machine lasts.
Capacity, loading type, and one maintenance habit specific to Bahrain that matters more than any feature on the box.
The short answer

Bigger does not mean you wash bigger loads every time. It means fewer cycles, and the ability to put a duvet through the machine at home rather than sending it out.
Front load or top load
Front load
Uses less water, washes more gently, and spins faster — which matters because clothes come out drier and need less time on the line. It costs more and you bend to load it.
Top load
Cheaper, easier on your back, usually faster per cycle. Uses more water and is harder on fabric.
Semi-automatic
Cheaper again and common here, but you move the wash from the washing tub to the spin tub yourself.
The Bahrain-specific part: hard water
Bahrain's water is hard. Scale builds on the heating element and inside the drum, and it is the single biggest reason machines fail early here.
Run a maintenance wash — empty drum, hottest cycle, a descaler — every couple of months whatever machine you buy. It costs very little and it is the difference between a machine that lasts five years and one that lasts ten.
Leave the door and the detergent drawer ajar between washes. A sealed warm drum in this climate grows mould quickly.
Washer-dryer combination, or two machines
A combination unit saves a footprint, which matters in an apartment. But it dries less at a time than it washes — a 10/7 kg unit washes 10 kg and dries 7 — and it dries more slowly than a dedicated machine. If you have the space and you dry indoors year-round, two machines will always be faster and hold more.
