Desktop monitors from HP and Krome, plus mounts and arms from NB.
For work, 27 inches at 1440p is the sweet spot. 1080p looks soft at that size and 4K needs interface scaling that not every application handles cleanly. If you switch between a laptop and a desktop, a monitor with a built-in KVM saves you a second keyboard.
For gaming, refresh rate beats resolution every time. 144Hz at 1440p feels better on anything that moves than 60Hz at 4K.
Do not skip the mount. A monitor arm frees the desk and fixes the neck strain that comes from a screen sitting too low on its own stand — the single cheapest improvement to a home office.
