The water rating is the specification to read properly. IP67 survives full immersion — a pool, the sea, a dropped speaker. IPX4 handles splashes and rain and nothing more. For beach and pool use in Bahrain, that gap is the entire decision.

Battery figures are measured at roughly half volume. At the volume you will actually use outdoors, expect meaningfully less.

If you want more than background sound for a gathering, look for models that pair two units into a stereo pair, or step up to a party speaker rather than pushing a small speaker to its limit.
