Air fryers, kettles, blenders, toasters, coffee machines, food choppers and grills from Black & Decker, Clikon, Hamilton Beach, Philips and Zen.
Air fryers have taken over the counter for good reason, but capacity is the thing to get right — a 4-litre basket feeds two, and a family needs 7 litres or a dual basket if you want two things cooking at different temperatures.
For blenders, the wattage claim matters less than the jug. Glass is heavier but does not scratch or hold smells; plastic is lighter and survives being dropped.
Coffee is worth spending on if you drink it daily. A machine with a decent burr grinder built in will beat a better brewer fed with pre-ground beans.
